The Project Health Networking session on Alcohol in the Workplace: Legal Risks and Common Sense Strategies was held on June 7th, 2007. Thirty-two workplace representatives from various sectors across Waterloo Region attended the session. In response to their feedback we are highlighting two websites that have excellent tools to help support workplace health representatives and their work in policy development.
- www.butlerconsultants.com - Barbara Butler is a leading Canadian expert on workplace alcohol and other drug issues. Her website contains advice on policy development, background information on drug testing, summaries or recent court decisions, and useful links to more comprehensive sites.
- www.addictionconsulting.com - This website for employers and employees provides useful tools to deal with addiction in the workplace. Take the free addiction quiz.
